Daniel is once again African Time Trial Champion as he became the fastest African rider for the second time in a row in the 7th African Continental Cycling Championship yesterday, Friday 11th November 2011 held here in the capital.

In the continental championship that is being magnificently hosted in Eritrea, an unbelievable cheer of crowd, dance of Eritrean mothers, and throws of popcorns on air as a traditional good luck sign for the riders were some of the eye catching views during the individual time trial competition. Eritrea Becomes the 2011 African Continental Cycling Champion (VIDEO)

Eritrea maintaining its African Championship for the second time through Natnael Berhane and Tesfay Abraha

The seventh African Continental Cycling Championship which started on the 9th of  November here in Asmara concluded today with Eritrea winning the championship.

In today’s final road race which included a total of 14 countries covering 146 kilometers distance, Eritrean riders, Natnael Berhane and Tesfay Abraha stood first and second consecutively following a turbulent sprint. Continue reading
