Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Meles Zenawi had a scary encounter in December when his aircraft made an emergency landing shortly after take off from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso’s capital, the weekly Reporter newspaper said. Meles was in Burkina Faso to attend that country’s presidential inauguration. Meles left Ouagadougou for Addis Ababa after two days in that country, but his aircraft made an emergency landing minutes after take off due to a damaged windshield.             Continue reading
