Six times regional champions Simba of Tanzania face a Resurgent Red Sea of Eritrea in a crucial “Group A” encounter this afternoon (July 3rd) at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam for the Cecafa Kagame Castel Cup Championship.

Rwanda has already bowed to Eritrea in cycling race and now for soccer

Enticelles of Rwanda are the first team to be knocked out of this year’s Cecafa Kagame Cup after losing 4-1 to Red Sea of Eritrea at the national Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.

Having lost their opening match 2-0 to Ocean View of Zanzibar, the Eritrean side put on a superlative display to hand the Rwandese side its third straight loss in the tournament in the Group B clash.

Red Sea got their goals through Idris Ismail, Yakob Emmanuel, Binia Fisenya and Abraham Tevos while Enticelles got their consolation goal from Claiver Mhire.

Enticelles player Idd Nshiyimana was red carded in the second half for a second bookable offence. Continue reading
