Once again this July, the chairman of the so-called U.N. Somalia Eritrea Monitoring group (Matt Bryden), US Ambassador to the UN (Susan Rice) and PM of the genocidal minority regime in Ethiopia (Meles Zenawi) have begun what they have been doing for a while; a joint semiannual ritual at the UNSC.

The goal is to undermine, ridicule and despoil every Eritrean institution, its people and its leadership. It has been obvious when it comes to Eritrea and the Eritrean people, no road is too low or no lie is too bold for the TPLF-run regime in Ethiopia.

It is impossible to try to put in layman’s language the way United Nations (UN) works. To understand it, one need to explore the core values, the purposes the organization bases its foundation, and compare it to how it is functioning currently.

The UN was established by the United States in collaboration with England at the height of Second World War. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill spent a great deal of time in Washington crafting the language and the framework for an organization that has become a major tool to further the agenda of Western nations led by the US.

Eritrea is on pace to achieve six of the eight UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by the target date of 2015, according to the London-based think tank, Africa Research Institute^[1] and the United Nations Development Programme.^[2]

The six MDGs Eritrea is on track in achieving are from MDG 2-to-7 that are Universal Primary Education, Gender Equality and Empowering Women, Reducing Child Mortality, Improvement of Maternal Health, Combating HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other Disease and Ensuring Environmental Sustainability.

Libya seems well on its way to becoming the next Somalia, with much of the country already ruled by tribal/clan based armed militias. As was the case in Somalia, Libya is in the process of separation, with the eastern, oil rich, Cyrenica region having issued a de facto declaration of independence.

Tripoli, the capital of Libya, seems to be headed in the direction of where Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia was 20 years ago, with various well armed militias from outside the city taking up residence and clashing over territory and the spoils of power. 

African Union turned into Handmaiden for Pax Americana

Professor Ali A. Mazrui, Director of the Institute of Global Cultural  Studies and Albert Schweitzer Professor in the Humanities State  University of New York, in his 2003 article “Between Pax Americana and Pax Africana“, wrote about the effects of the September 11 attacks on Africa and US policy in Africa . Professor Mazrui, in concluding his article asked the following:

Eritrea on Saturday denounced as unfounded US sanctions imposed on two Eritrean government officials accused of links to al-Qaeda affiliated Somali rebels.

They had been targeted “not because there is a shred of truth or material evidence to the false accusations heaped upon them” but because the US wanted to give the impression it was tightening its sanctions, said a statement.

A political advisor to Eritrea President Isaias Afewerki says the country has reactivated its membership in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), an East African sub-regional bloc.

Yemane Gebreab, who is also head of political affairs at the People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), said Eritrea suspended its membership from the group in protest after the sovereignty of a member state of was “violated.”

The UN announced its budget for feeding the over one million Somali refugees under its care for the next year and have allocated less than 10 cents a day to do so.

Anthony Lake, once nominated to head the CIA, now UNICEF supremo, held a press conference in April 2012 to declare a budget of $35 million for the next year to feed the Somali refugees in its care, over one million and growing by the day.

The African Union (AU) has mutated into a particularly corrupt and brutal enforcer of western rule in Africa. When it comes to the interests of Pax Americana, you must start with the crimes committed in the AU’s “War on Terror” in Somalia a.k.a. The War on the Somali people.

In 2006 the Somalis themselves under the umbrella of the Union of Islamic Courts brought about a miracle in many observers eyes and established a functioning government in the former capital of Mogadishu bringing peace and security to the region for the first time in 15 years.
